Mystery of the Lake By: Aidan

This picture is based on Raul’s picture. I read his description and amplified on the things he thought made it good. The Loch Ness Monster shadow was added because the picture looked a little boring with out anything else in it but the beach. I used three filters and the shadow of the Loch Ness Monster in this picture. I think that the shadow adds an element of mystery because you don’t see what it is, but think you know.

Student photographer's analysis of the photo:

I chose Dwight D. Eisenhower because our school was named after him. He was a great man! He was the thirty-fourth president, and he was a very special man. I had no idea what to take a picture of, so I decided to take a picture of this man. Our school was named after him, and we honor him with this statue in the courtyard!

Student photographer's analysis of the photo:

It was a cold day and there were not a lot of people in the courtyard. The place where I took this picture, I think that it is very mysterious. In some way, it looks like a bow and arrow. That is what I titled the picture when I handed it in. But, I just don't know. I really like this picture, and I hope that many other people will like it too.

Student photographer's analysis of the photo:

I really like this photo because it captures the water falling. We usually can't see things like this with our naked eye. I like how the water appears bubbly. It took me a long time to get a good photo of the water. I kept taking photos, but they kept coming out blurry. I was really happy that I finally got a good picture.

Student photographer's analysis of the photo:

I think this picture is very interesting. It makes me feel happy. The school looks like a church, and it makes me feel peaceful and harmonious. The sun makes me feel energetic. This picture means a lot to me because the sun is special, and the red line in the middle is also really interesting. You can see the sun in the middle of the picture. A part of a tree is also showing, like only a few branches. And next to the sun is the top of the school.

Student photographer's analysis of the photo:

I took this picture, and I think it is cool. It's like a symbol of something or someone. I don't know. I just like it, and I think other people will too. When I see this, I don't think of someone trying to give someone a message. I see pink, a line running down the wall and the word, me.

Student photographer's analysis of the photo:

What do I feel when I see this picture? I feel like this place is lonely, and nobody goes there at least to visit. Also, it looks like a ghost would live there. The place looks humid, like if it had already rained. The background of this picture is nature. In my opinion, nature is the prettiest thing on Earth, and I love to take pictures of nature because I appreciate everything that we have. I also like this picture because the benches show that the place is a place to visit with your family. But, it looks like not a lot of families have been there because the wood of the benches are rotten, and the grass has not been cut.

Student photographer's analysis of the photo:

I took this picture. I think this is the perfect picture because a door means a new start or the end of something. I think when you open a door, you open yourself to someone or something. I also think when you close a door, you close or leave behind a chapter of your life. I chose to take this picture with a door that has a window blocked with black paper because you never know what is going to happen in the future.

Student photographer's analysis of the photo:

I think that when I see this picture, it makes me feel as if the broom is being closed in by darkness. At the same time, the light is fighting back, but the broom has no say in whether the light should take over. Also, the shadow looks as if it is being pulled by the dark. In the end, the light and the darkness both are going to take turns taking over the broom.

Student photographer's analysis of the photo:

The reason why I took this picture is because these flowers are so beautiful. Just a few times I have seen white flowers. The white color really makes the picture more interesting because everything else is green. If you notice, there is a little dot that is yellow. Also it is cool because the sun gives light to the picture that makes it brighter. If you pay close attention to where the big flower is, you can see that there is a shadow. It looks like a shadow of a person. This picture makes me happy because it is so pretty, and I like it. The wind is strong, so that is why the flower is kind of tilted. Also, there are some old leaves around the flower.

Student photographer's analysis of the photo:

I like this picture because it shows the star or symbol of Texas, and the color is brown. Around the star is a circle with the color of green. And the star is big enough to see from a long distance, and the wall behind it looks cool because it matches with the star. And on the right of the star you see the shadow of the tree. The branches are moving up and down. And to the left of the star you see logs pointing towards the star. This picture means a lot to me. It means that our state is proud of the symbol of a star. One side of the picture is dark and the other side is light. That's pretty weird.

Student photographer's analysis of the photo:

I think this picture is very interesting. I like how it looks. I took this picture at the store when we were on a field trip. I just took the picture, and I moved the camera by accident. So, the movement of the picture is kind of blurry. There are some Cokes, flowers, sunglasses, and wrapping paper. There's even some sunlight. I just like it a lot. Everything is just in another place and it moves suddenly. It's so cool. I feel good about this picture because it is a picture that came from me. I just took it just to have more pictures, but it turned out to be one of the best ones I took. It would be a good picture to make photo art.

Student photographer's analysis of the photo:

This picture is when we went on a field trip. We got off the bus and started walking. It felt like if we were walking inside a forest. The old building that you see in the picture is hidden in the middle of a lot of trees. The kids in the picture found this building and they took pictures. This is when I took this picture. I took it because the building looked like it had been there for a long time. This picture looks awesome because it looks like it is in the middle of a war. It looks like you are on a museum tour, and they show you this building and explain that it has been there for 300 years or more. For me, this picture is interesting because of how it looks.

Student photographer's analysis of the photo:

I like this picture because it shows how much I like bikes. It also reminds me of when I jumped a hill and destroyed my bike and just left it there like this person did. Bikes make me happy because they are good transportation. I also like the mix of the colors of red, yellow, blue, and the black tires. The chain that helps the bike move is really rusty and broken. The person who dropped it must have left it there a long time ago because of its condition. I also like the reflection in the water. There are also a lot of clothes and shoe laces on top. The bike is also a bike with good wheels for off road. The tire also looks flat. It looks like if someone was racing on it and messed up and crashed down, or the owner of it just didn't like the bike. The shadows of the trees make it dark compared to how bright it is outside. It also looks like if that big rock is about to fall on the handles. The back tire is probably flat from the compression of the rock. The bike also reminds me of how much time I use mine and if I'm not careful, that's how my bike will end up too.

Student photographer's analysis of the photo:

The reason I took this picture is because I thought it would be cool to have a picture showing a shadow. I like the way the shadow is shown on the right and left side of the picture. Only the light is between. I also took the picture since it kind of looked scary. When I look at the picture, it looks weird because it looks dark and at the same time, it looks bright. From my view, it looks like there is only one way to walk in. I like taking pictures of both shadows and light combined.

Student photographer's analysis of the photo:

I took this picture because I like the colors, position and view. It looks like a storm is about to hit the place. It is sort of like giving you a warning. The ocean looks like you could die if you go in, indestructible. The colors are gray and black.
